You're not just looking at it from a narrow perspective, but the widest possible. Unfortunately it seems as if most people cannot grasp the "big picture" and remain thinking in their non-"neo" way... I just wish there was a simpler way to explain this so that more people could understand it. I think "The Story" was wonderful, but it's just... well, seems like something's missing. Something to just GRAB the mass by the ear and say "LISTEN, DAMNIT". I'm rambling now, as it's hard to word out what I'm feeling. Keep up the good work though.

They don't understand how to turn the concepts in Neo-Tech into practical applications. Is this true? I feel like I am still learning about Neo-Tech and still trying to understand the concepts. However, I do try to implement the concepts I understand into my life, such as the CAS diet. What I am wondering is, is there special instructions needed for turning the Neo-Tech concepts into practical applications or is it simply a matter of DTC? I am asking you based on your experience of dumping mysticism. You have done it before, I am still trying to. It totally blew me away - - - like nothing I had ever read. I still struggle with it, it so challenges everything I was taught, or puts a different spin on it, or casts it in a different light. In spite of the fact that I still retain a lot of my earlier beliefs, I often think in Neo-Tech terms, I ask myself how this or that situation would work out in a Neo-Tech oriented approach. At one time or another I have bought just about everything that NTP has published. I am VERY disappointed to see it being removed from the WWW and I hope that, notwithstanding those "other" companies out there, that it can be re-established here in the Neo-Tech domain. I wish there was a forum dedicated to the horror of student loans, the modern American indentured servitude. The issue of deprivation of basic civil rights in favor of "administrative" action by the government is the same as with the IRS. A lender claims I defaulted on a loan. The lender sends the loan to a "guaranty agency" for payment. The guaranty agency pays the lender and then several years later sends the loan to the U.S. Dept. of Education. The U.S. Dept. of Education pays off the guaranty agency $30,000 without asking any questions and then demands payment from me. They demand that I prove that I don't owe the debt. For six and a half years I have demanded that they produce the contents of my file. After being threatened with wage garnishment, despite the fact that there is no judgment against me, my congressman's office finally got me two pages of documents from the file. One page is an illegible document that is cut-off on the bottom. The other is a stamp reading that the "foregoing documents are true and accurate copies of the original". I can't read the name of the person on the stamp, nor do I know what company this person was from. Yet, this "evidence" is sufficient for the U.S. Dept. of Education to demand the right to garnish my wages. Since these documents did not originate in the U.S. Dept. of Education, they would be considered inadmissable hearsay in a court of law. Yet, the U.S. Dept. of Education demands that I prove the records of a third or fourth part are inaccurate rather than first demanding proof from the guarantee agency that they are true before handing the taxpayers money over. If I am subjected to the indignity of having my wages garnished, I may just go into the underground economy and not pay any taxes at all. I refuse to be extorted like this.

One never hears of political persons being found out for tax-paying deficits and stripped of all their material means If politicians were thinking of "the people" they wouldn't set up six figure pensions to live on in retirement, or collect social security to further pad bank accounts when the average taxpayer retires to live on minimal financial means after a lifetime of taxation to support the high life of gov't officials. Who cares about exploring Mars- I'd rather have the tax money spent towards that frivilous expenditure in my piggybank for covering the cost of prescription medication, food, heat and perhaps a trip to an exotic country just once when I am elderly and unable to suppliment my income by working. So for those who see no way out from under the IRS- pay up $1500 and give a few useless rights away to become a non taxable resident in this country that used to be called "the land of opportunity" The only true freedoms we have left are independent choice of livelihoods, freedom of movement in daylight hours, and the right to live where we desire; the freedoms are allowed because to deny these would decrease tax production for the "fat cat" greedy leaders in Washington DC.

Oddly, I owned just about every Ayn Rand book and every Natahaniel Branden book on my own bookshelves for some years. So I kind of thought this all was a logical step in that evolutionary stream of thought, the next step past it. I'm looking forward to more texts from this outfit. I re-read the Discovery text three times before making a call on it personally. I believe that any form of prejudice always pre-supposes a closed mind. While i do not fully agree with every point, I do agree tacitly about most all the text by my own life experience and observations. I think a lot of people basically in life want something for nothing. There just is no free lunch. And that book points that out. I also know the content of the book will be hard-hitting on a lot of people, because it hits you square on values, achievement, and many aspects of action and thinking. But I also believe that whatever in life a person does not own, will never change. Whatever you will own about Yourself, can change. I think Wallace was as honest as he could be in this writing. The book hit me squarely about areas in my own life that Mysticism as Wallace defines it semantically had affected me. I also was hit by my own defaults on reality and responsibility. I was made aware of a lot. I liked it and look forward to further publications. There is very valuable information here anyone can use and benefit by if they are open to it and change as process. I read some of the negative comments, and it was really flaky, and weird stuff I thought, by some very troubled individuals withh deep issues. No insult intended... All I can say is that wherever you find yourself at in adult life, you made the appointment to be there... A lot of people do not want to own that either... The text for me is great stuff and grounded in reality and I get a lot out of it. And I am a rational scientist who does art and music, by the way. Keep up the good work.

I must confess that beyond the first chapter on Down Stream focus, the rest of The Book had a devastating affect upon me. I was confident within the Rational superiorty of Islam to other religions of the world, as adhereing to the extinct sect of theologians/Mutzillah, until I came across The Book, ofcourse. In combinning the Objectivism of Ayn Rand with the evolutionary tale of cognitive psychology, as per Julian Jaynes' Origin of Consciousness in the Break Down of the Bicameral Mind (albeit, an untestable hypothesis), here was presented a devastating critique of Pure Religion. The Identification of all religion with mysticism and the identification of anti-rational ideas with mysticism was indeed a concept that destroyed my constructs ,and lead me on a path of hermatic life, a life without a material purpose. I could identify some non-sequitors in your argument but they were never primary to the claim anyways. The cogency of the overall rational was do so overpwering that I for the only time in my life, was set to tear a book apart. Of course, I did save the relevant chapters and bound them together as a condensced version of The Book, and every now and then when I seem to be drifting away from selfishness unto altruism, I use those excerpts as a source of moral inspiration. I, during my hermatic period, lasting from begining of 2000-04, have read a lot on the religions of Christianty, Islam, and Hinduism, and while my verdict against Muhammad may not be as harsh as yours, nevertheless, I have--since December of last year--left the domain of religion completely, surrendering the grounds to the literalists/dogmatists completely. I agree with the most perverted fundamentalist that with in a religion, there can be no semblance of rationality. Religion is to be taken on Faith, and all faith is blind; and I have now gained the sight and refuse to depart from it. Furthermore, I also entranched myself in a deep study of philosophy, focusing on the classical era, onto Medieval Islamic Paripatetics, and after a circuitous route of Antiquity's myths, I landed on the shores of modern philosophy, short of any influence form what is known as contemporary philosophy: a post Kantian anti-syllogism of Hegelian dialectics. With the rejection of all religion, and thanks to David Hume, I am comfortable in an Epicurian sense of moralism. I conseider myself a Deist as in the sense of the founding fathers, without the added mythology of mono/pan/panen-theism, but functionally I'm an an Atheist, i.e. God's existance is recognized as a fact, but a fact utterly useless in theory or practice, like the existance of the star Vega; this is not to say that Deity is spacialized. Otherwise, I thank you, for the opportunity that your literature gave me that lead me to where I am today. Altough, the cost was four years of my academic life gone, I believe that I've achieved a thorougly integrated philosophy of my own that I've not named yet, and that is very much similar to that of Neo-Tech and Objectivism; but as of last night, after my demontration of my precepts of logic, epitemology, metaphysics, ethics,and esthetics in front of the Objectivist club here at Arizona State Univ. I'm aware that my system of thougt, although, standing on the shoulders of giants, is unique in accordance to some of my emphasis and derivation of ideas from sources hitherto left untapped or unemphasised. Thank you and have a selfish time for you duration on Earth. P.S my requests to all those who do not immediately agree with Neo-Tech is to calm down and give it a rational thought. If Neo-tech is false then it will not succeed in a rational and free exchange, and if it is the breakthough as I believe it to be then come to terms with it. There may be no after life, but Neo-Tech will bring you the paradise that you covet. Besides, only Atheist will go to Heaven ;)

You need to offer more techniques and exercises one can practice in order to change nearly every part of my life. It makes sense yet is difficult to incorporate to daily life. I am at a time in my life that I want and need change in order to spend the rest more fullfilled and happy. Less afraid and full of regrets and lost passion for living... I am sure that the world and those with most power and money do not have what I need. Money doesn't bring happy, peaceful, loving existence. I was brought up in a big time neo-cheater and mystic home. MY father is a lawyer who knows everything and loves that word "non-sequitor" also. My Mother lived life as a fake always trying to keep up with the Jones. AS their second kid, I was expected to go to college, join a sorority and marry well. I did finish college but became a lost soul. I have had many good jobs, all that I quit from bordeom while always being told I was stupid to quit. I move to have some adventure for a short time. I've done too many drugs and alcohol continuing to lose myself more. So I NEED a new philosophy, after studing Kant, descartes, Rand, even Crowley... perhaps Neo tech hold a new lease on life for me.

I think too many people just don't want to try. They get carried along and so they become complacent, accepting their lives for what they are spoonfed. I reckon that choosing to follow any order, including Neo-tech, anything that suggests that you follow anything other than your own instinct, reflects the need in an individual to reach out to be a part of something more. What's wrong with just understanding and being a part of the all important, your self. I think there's not enough effort in society. But then, people will have it said that we are all born different. I reckon that perhaps we're all born same, though some choose to work harder than others. For Neo-tech then, I think it will be difficult for many to grasp what it suggests, to exist freely. Because to the majority thinkers, free is a word that they deleted from their thoughts before they were born. It takes a certain kind of light being, with a certain focus and free-thought, to put what you are suggesting in to practice. Many will suppose that it should take years to master the art. Though, in reality, freedom is only a decision away. I wonder. If folk could really grasp that freedom is only one thought away, if they would make the effort to think that thought. I have discarded all of the ones that were just sexual playthings, and those that were sudo frinds, friend in sexual need. Were no longer needed or wanted. The rest have been wondering what is up with me. Though I keep in touch viea E-mail list, they know they arnt the personal lolly pops they once got. Being honest is my hardest problem, that is not blowing smoke up their collective asses to get sex. Am trying not to be a slave to my sexual drive. That is hard! LOL What has happened is amazing. Never thought that I would ever think that I would want to work at anything agin, but here I am, go figure. If you would like to fix my spelling and reproduce this letter go ahead. I just wish that I had been invited 30 years ago. Where would I be now. It scary the amount of creativity I now experence, so much so it hard to ever sleep. The Neo-Tech Discovery, that I have read, clearly states you should take what you like from the techniques inside, THINK FOR YOURSELF, and ignore the ones you disagree with. I have read one book so far and I believe in what it teaches, but I still think for myself. I still have some doubts. My biggest doubt is this: If this company wants this to knowledge to spread across the world, to stop neo-cheating, to "save the world", why put a price tag on these books. This information should be free to all. If the company is worried about the costs of publishing, they should use the Internet alot more. Thanks to Internet information is spread much more quickly and it is a ton more cost effective.

"The Book" has explained my mystical thinking an is redirecting me, I feel, into a more positive life and way of thinking. My husband has read the book 5 times and is well versed on the subject. Neo-tech thinking men make THE BEST husbands! We have extensive conversations about it and I am happier than I have ever been in my life. I am 42 years old and have been reading this book for 6 months. Keep fighting the fight! Don't allow the Governemnt and christian sectors snuff you out - its extremely important to our futures!!

However, the last book I bought from NTP (or an organization associated with NTP) was before 2000, and it concerned the "Y2K crisis". As that book was so far off the mark, I lost interest in NTP and have not since purchased any other NTP products. Recently, I have read almost every article on NTP's website, and have found them to be of great value. "The Story" by Mark Hamilton was one of the most inspiring pieces of fiction I have ever read and has renewed my hope that humanity will be able to achieve biological immortality within my lifetime. To my chagrin, many other Neo-Tech articles alluded to in some of the articles have been removed from the website. I would urge NTP to keep this site on the world wide web.

The negative comments were closed minded and very hateful. These mystics are very hateful people. I thought their god was supposed to be loving and forgiving. All I have read from them was death to all not like them. The positive comments I have read was very opened minded and did not once mention anything about death to the mystics, just a hope these mystics will open their minds and eyes to reality. If these mystics do not open their minds they will kill themselves with their beliefs anyway while the rest of us prosper. Hail' Neo-Tech!
